With support from the Kresge Foundation, we’ve been writing a “Playbook for Foundations: Guidance on Developing and Investing Strategically in Networks.” Drawing on some of the basic concepts in Connecting , the playbook will provide funders with tools, frameworks, examples, advice, and exercises to think and act strategically about investing in networks as part of their overall approach–whatever their type of foundation, mission, and broad goals, whether they are focused on a system in a community, a complex issue, a promising field of practice, or other target for social impact.
